College Apartment Tour

I outlined the home decor items I was investing in earlier this summer, and I’m very pleased with the way our apartment turned out. There are many simple ways to replicate all those chic homes you’ve seen on Pinterest, even on a college student budget. For example, establishing a color scheme ties a whole room together, a statement rug goes a long way, and chances are your parents probably have some things they would be willing to donate to you. My roommate and I had so much fun making this space our own! Scroll down to see some of my favorite details of our cozy space.

Enjoy.

September Style

September is an interesting month. It’s full of back-to-school excitement, sunflowers, and the last of summer sunshine. I was excited when the weather cooled down a bit this weekend and allowed me to pull out my boyfriend jeans. The broken-in fit is so comfortable and they’re my go-to for a relaxed weekend look. I wore mine with this cinnamon (autumn in a color) Madewell tee. Topped off with dainty gold details and leather perforated espadrilles and you’ve got yourself an effortless transitional look.

Fashion Week Faves

Focusing in class during the month of September? Forget about it. Fashion month has taken over the internet these past few weeks, and I’m overall pretty impressed by the collections that were shown. While some designers stuck to simple silhouettes and patterns, we saw many stunning ensembles that we couldn’t take our eyes off of. I’ve rounded up my favorite runway looks so far. Be sure to follow @ZippedMag (SU’s fashion magazine, I am PR Director) on Instagram for more fashion week coverage.

Have a chic weekend!

Fall Trends

Hello my lovelies!! I apologize for my brief hiatus from the blog, but I haven’t had an ounce of free time recently with the start of the new school year.

The only thing getting me through this month? Fall.

While I’m all about savoring sunshine and cute summer frocks, crisp autumn weather is the only thing on my mind lately. Fall fashion is quickly approaching and I am so ready to trade in my off-the-shoulder tops for an oxblood leather jacket, cropped flare jeans, and anything velvet. Here are some fall fashion images from Pinterest that I’m currently coveting.

Have a great week.
