Since the beginning of high school, I have followed Emily Schuman’s blog, “Cupcakes and Cashmere.” Since then, the blog has transformed into a full-on website and business, featuring posts about fashion, food, and decor. The content of each post is strong and Emily usually sticks to under 600 words, with information split into paragraphs so readers do not get lost in the writing.

The website is very easy to navigate, with page titles clearly at the top of the page and drop down menus to help you find exactly what you are looking for. The right side of the webpage features ways to connect with Emily Schuman. After clicking on a post to read, the reader can use the scroll bar on the left to see all of the website’s most recent posts.

One of the best features of Cupcakes and Cashmere are the beautiful photographs with each post. These large, bright images are always so captivating, women who enjoy fashion, food, and design flock to the website. The captions of these photos always feature hyperlinks to the websites where users can buy the products featured, which is one of the many ways the Emily and her husband make profit off of Cupcakes and Cashmere.

With the pretty white space, dainty light pink details, and creative post titles, this webpage easily gets hundreds of thousands of viewers and clicks each month. All of these web aspects sets this fashion website apart from the rest, and has made Emily into a credible fashionista.
